I am passionate about internal auditing because it combines analytical thinking with a real impact on business processes. Starting my career as an independent auditor, I gained experience across diverse sectors such as tourism, NGOs, steel, and manufacturing, which helped me quickly adapt to various business models and environments. Currently, I play an active role in an internal audit department that was established from scratch within a highly regulated, multinational aviation company—a joint venture between Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines. Being part of building this department from the ground up has been a valuable experience, and I have been contributing to its growth and success for a considerable time. My responsibilities extend beyond traditional audit activities to include consulting on process improvements, managing the company’s ethics hotline process, and collaborating closely with teams to drive meaningful change. Providing advisory support has become an integral part of my role, helping the organization enhance efficiency and compliance. Throughout my career, I have conducted comprehensive audits covering financial, operational, and IT areas—such as system development and authorization controls—reflecting the broad scope and complexity of modern business environments. Known for my strong communication skills, discipline, and ability to independently manage audits from start to finish, I thrive in collaborative settings and value building trust-based relationships.
