I graduated high school in 2009 and entered Memorial University that same year. I was accepted into the Commerce program in 2011 and started my undergrad degree. Choosing the Commerce program was a great choice for me since it gave me the opportunity to work in between semesters and see which area of business I would like to work in. Throughout my school career I had the chance to learn many new skills such as public speaking, Microsoft Office 2010, and the use of many different computer programs. I worked at Johnson Insurance as a broker for home and automobile insurance for 6 years. I gained valuable knowledge for the industry and enjoyed helping clients with their insurance needs.
