Kayla left behind her full-time desk job at a branding and marketing company in 2016 in search of a more meaningful career, one where she could truly make a difference in people’s lives. That’s when she embraced the health & wellness industry and found massage therapy. Kayla believes the perfect massage has a balance between focused, therapeutic work and unparalleled relaxation & flow—always customized to each individual and their unique needs. Equipped with a strong sense of anatomy and a wide array of massage techniques, Kayla loves working with clients to help them discover movement patterns in their everyday lives which may be contributing to postural imbalances and chronic pain. Kayla also has enormous compassion, and loves building trusting relationships with her clients, as well as helping them relax, reduce anxiety and find relief from depression. Kayla is also a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She readily shares her knowledge of self-myofascial release techniques and corrective exercise with all her clients—empowering them to make progress beyond the treatment room by taking their healing into their own hands. Kayla’s unique massage style combines Swedish, deep-tissue, myofascial, trigger point, positional release, cupping and relaxation techniques. With a background in writing and editing, Kayla continues to do freelance writing work for various health & wellness companies to help them build their brands and market their services.
