Currently training as a Forensic Firearm & Toolmark Examiner with Vancouver Police Department. 3 years experience as a Forensic Firearms Analyst (Technologist) with Edmonton Police Service’s Firearms Examination Unit. 900+ firearm, and firearm related exhibit examinations completed. Extensive training and experience in firearms safety & functionality, damaged firearms, privately made firearms, firearms & toolmark identification, serial number restoration, firearms tracing, cartridge case triage & IBIS BRASSTRAX acquisitions and training. Previously occupied the role of CIBIN National Quality Assurance Coordinator for the EPS CIBIN site with the CIBIN National Quality Assurance Program. An MSc, Forensic Investigation graduate with a HBSc in Forensic Science, specialized in Firearms & Toolmark Identification and Ballistics. My graduate research, published with the Journal of Forensic Sciences, focused on comparing ballistic impact of hollow point projectiles to long bones, a continuation of my undergraduate thesis research.
