About Kayla Hernandez

I have a Ph.D. in Clinical psychology from Palo Alto University with a specialty in Neuropsychology. I assess a wide variety of disorders such as neurocognitive, neurological, movement, psychiatric, mood, spinal cord injury, developmental/learning disabilities, and personality. I am particularly interested in treating and researching addictions to substance and digital media such as the Internet or video games. I have worked in settings such as inpatient, residential, school, nonprofit, and outpatient, and have experience treating many mental health conditions at various levels of acuity. I am passionate about improving treatment and assessment procedures for individuals with marginalized identities or those who are ESL. I am a bilingual English/Spanish provider.
