I have been in the medical field since January 2005, starting in the file room and OR readying viewer for surgical cases. Proceeding on to Nurse Assistant II and working in telemetry and ICU different shifts to attain my RadTech degree, as I was a single mother of two. As soon as I graduated I was offered a position doing portable xray in a clinical setting, and learned such a great deal about technique and positioning without aid of stationary equipment. I am still working as a rad tech, and have since moved to work in orthopedics with stationary equipment. Meanwhile also earning a letter in Mammography!
