About Kayla Matlock

I am a local & online Track, Field & Running coach. I teach private lessons for high jump, long jump, hurdles, and running mechanics (which includes both sprinting and distance). I have coached both Middle and High School Cross Country and Track in a school setting but teaching private lessons allows me to spend more time on specific technique with athletes. I am a former teacher certified in Business Education (Career Technology Business), and Physical Education, Health and Safety. I hold a Master's Degree is in Secondary Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Sports, Wellness and Recreation (Exercise Science). I also hold fitness certifications from two nationally accredited organizations: National Academy of Sports Medicine: Personal Training United Endurance Sports Coaching Academy: Running Coach I have taught 4 years here In Oklahoma. I have taught-Elementary Electives (Art, PE, Robotics, Spanish)-Middle School Keyboarding & Computer Applications (Microsoft Office, Google Drive) and STEM (Engineering through PLTW)-Middle School STEM Keyboarding and Basic Computer Applications (Google Drive)-High School Keyboarding & Computer Applications (Microsoft Office, Google Drive), Financial Literacy, ACT Prep I have also taught Adult Education and Continuing Education for Teachers in Computer Applications (Microsoft Office, Google Drive & Classroom), Schoology, Interactive Lessons, and Video Lesson Creation.
