About Kayla Ringwald

I am a senior in the College of Education, Health, and Society at Miami University pursuing my passion for English Education in grades seventh through twelfth. I am working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Integrated English Education and plan to graduate in the Spring of 2023. I am also seeking a concentration in professional writing alongside my degree. I am involved in various campus organizations at Miami University that allowed me to gain varying experience and skills. This is my fourth year on the top team of Miami’s Women's Club Volleyball organization and this experience has encouraged my independent and leadership skills. I am a participating ambassador for EHSA (Education, Health, and Society Ambassador) and within this program I am a part of the Out-Reach committee where we connect with nearby schools to create programs with prospective Miami students. I am a member of the She Became program which is a women-lead organization that allows Miami students to travel to surrounding elementary schools and teach third/fourth graders about women empowerment. I am an active member of the Beta Epsilon chapter of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. Within this chapter I work in the Philanthropy committee that partners with Girls On The Run in Cincinnati.
