Background
About Kayla Scott
My name is Kayla Scott. I currently work at Austin Peay State University as the Scholarship Coordinator for Tennessee State Scholarships. Before becoming staff, I was a student worker and was trained to assist students who called our office. I occasionally work in our reception and phone areas when needed. When I became a full time staff member I remained the phone receptionist for one year before being promoted to the to position of Account Clerk within the TN State Scholarship Office. I have a wide knowledge of financial aid regulations and processes along with basic VA educational benefit knowledge. I also serve as the chair of the Satisfactory Academic Progress Appeals Committee and Financial Aid liaison for the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System. I completed my bachelor's in Communications at Austin Peay State University in Spring 2015.
