About Kayla Smith

I have worked at Six Flags America in the culinary department as a Team Member. That is/was my first job. I am planning on leaving Six Flags to go into a different department if offered by a retail company/position. I am also working at a community center for senior citizens and the youth. I was in the Prince George's County Leadership program and have recently graduated with my certificate. I have also recently graduated from high school. During my four years, I have been in the choral program. I had the opportunity of singing in Christmas in Washington, the Grand Opening of the African American History Museum of Art and Culture in Washington, DC. I worked and sang with Denise Graves and Jane Monheit. I had the opportunity of being in the women's choir, chamber choir and concert choir during my four years of high school. I've had 2 solos. By the end of my high school year, I had been a student ambassador and accepted to George Mason University, Shenandoah University, Shaw University, Towson University and Kentucky State University all for musical performance scholarships. I hope to get any type of experience in the fields that require me to become a real estate agent, travel agent, wedding planner or interior designer. In addition to me taking courses in college.
