About Kayla Tisdale

Kayla Tisdale is a certified and licensed Athletic Trainer with a strong foundation in sports medicine and rehabilitation. A Nashville native, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Education with a focus in kinesiology from the University of Tennessee and a Master of Science in Athletic Training from the University of South Florida. Ms. Tisdale completed an advanced residency program in rehabilitation and manual techniques with Houston Methodist Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in June 2023. Prior to joining Emory Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Georgia as a Clinical Athletic Trainer, she gained experience as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at George Bush High School (Fort Bend ISD) and as outreach for Houston Methodist Sugarland, also providing PRN services for Texas Children’s Hospital. In her current role, she provides clinical support to a non-operative provider specializing in regenerative medicine and translational research, assisting with procedures involving platelet-rich plasma (PRP), micro-fragmented adipose tissue (MFAT), and other orthobiologic therapies.
