Kayla Willis is an Atlanta native hailing from South Fulton, GA. Kayla is currently an HBCU Fellow at Columbia University, the first HBCU Fellow to represent the Master of Science in Political Analytics Program! She received her B.A. in Political Science and Spanish at Fisk University. In addition, she is the founder and CEO of the 501c3 public charity nonprofit organization, The More Than Numbers Youth Program, Incorporated. In June 2019, Kayla founded The More Than Numbers Youth Program, Incorporated (MTN) to provide students with aid for their transition into college. Since then, she has helped over 110 students transition into higher education, many attending HBCUs. MTN has provided over worth of scholarships and aid to students. Professionally, Kayla enjoys work in policy, especially those that focus on education and infrastructure. It is a dream of hers to run her nonprofit full-time while having a political career. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, writing, bike riding, and working out! Overall, she is a driven and active young lady who is dedicated to her hopes and aspirations!
