About Kayla Young

A Regional Manager at Demeine Estates, a leading importer and distributor of fine wines from around the world. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Food & Beverage Management and a Minor in Sommelier Studies from Johnson & Wales University, and a Certificate in Wine Steward/Sommelier from Deutsche Wein- und Sommelierschule. I have over ten years of experience in the hospitality and wine industry, with a passion for delivering exceptional service and quality products to our clients and partners. In my current role, I oversee the sales, marketing, and operations of 16 brands across New York and New Jersey, managing a team of 12 account managers and coordinators. I work closely with our suppliers, distributors, retailers, and restaurateurs, to establish and maintain strong relationships, identify and pursue new opportunities, and increase market share and revenue. I also leverage my skills and knowledge in hospitality, restaurant management, catering, and wine to create and execute innovative strategies, events, and promotions that showcase our portfolio and enhance our brand image and reputation. I am driven by the values of excellence, integrity, and collaboration, and I enjoy working in a dynamic and diverse environment where I can learn from and contribute to the success of our team and organization.
