About Kayla Yumet
I received a BA in psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in Spring 2020, with a minor in education. Right after graduation, I received my certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). I worked to provide 1:1 ABA services to students with intellectual disabilities aged 7-14. In 2023, I decided to make a professional change and began working as a Paraprofessional within a public school special education department. The shift in demographics of the students I work with created a learning curve for me, but I was able to successfully push through and continue to make lasting impacts on all of my students. I am currently working with a special education program that supports students, aged 14-18, socially and emotionally. I am looking for work in a special education or social services setting with a flexible work environment. I am open to a variety of roles in this area and am easily trainable. Hopefully looking for a quick commute from Braintree, Massachusetts.
