About Kaylea Speckmann

Nebraska Alumni for the 2021 Spring season. I achieved my Bachelors of Science in Education and Human Sciences. I anticipate getting my Masters in Social Work. I am excellent at helping individuals, families, or groups throughout any stage of life, including coping, and determining everyday problems. I also promote and develop plans to enhance patient’s outcomes. Analyzing and introducing community resources is one of my goals in continuing my education. Interesting things about me: I was born in Lincoln, Nebraska and raised in Elk Creek, Nebraska. I completed my high school education at Johnson County Central (Tecumseh, Ne). I received my Bachelors of Science degree at UNL in the Spring of 2021. After discovering my skills in the healthcare field, I have been given many opportunities to learn about what is used in a medical position. This has been a learning experience and has helped me set new goals for my future. Some goals I have completed are:~In 2014: I started my career in health care in Tecumseh, Ne. This job inspired me to become further interested in the medical/clinical field and continue my education at the University of Nebraska.~In 2016: I joined Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals as a Nurse Aide in Lincoln. I helped the nursing team create a great and successful environment for patients injured from a tragic life experience.~In late 2016: I began my journey as a Nebraska School Activities Association volleyball official. This experience has taught me to become a leader for younger people. I travel throughout the southeast region of Nebraska and officiate in a variety of levels. Specialties: The variety of experience with different age-groups, Collaboration, Hospitality, Innovative, Stewardship, Teaching, Respect, Team Building, Goal Setting.
