I serve as a Plant Variety Examiner at the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service Plant Variety Protection Office. My background in cellular and developmental biology is instrumental in my ability to perform detailed examinations of plant variety applications, ensuring compliance with the Plant Variety Protection Act. I am also pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence & Software and Systems at Athens State University. My thesis will be the research and development of an open source Blender add-on that will be designed to enable the efficient and scalable creation of realistic felt and wool materials that aims to replace traditional particle systems for procedural material generation using geometry nodes.
