About Kaylee Rodriguez

I am currently involved in an International Agricultural Education Fellowship, where I collaborate daily with a science teacher to integrate school-based agricultural education (SBAE) lessons. Our work includes engaging in community activities and implementing agricultural projects that create long-term value. Through youth empowerment and a transdisciplinary approach, we aim to foster agricultural growth and passion by connecting practical knowledge with real-life applications. Our initiatives include community gardens, home entrepreneurship projects, and enhanced learning experiences, such as Lecture Plus. Additionally, I meet monthly with a field director or program coordinator to assess our progress and submit monitoring and evaluation surveys. Through this fellowship, I hope to learn from current agricultural leaders and build meaningful relationships with community members. Our goal is to support and empower future generational leaders in their desired agricultural fields.
