As an executive leader and accomplished Emergency Management professional, my 18+ years’ experience providing salient leadership and strategic direction has enhanced emergency response and crisis management capability in NSW and now Victoria. I have held a variety of senior executive roles within the emergency management sector, gaining an industry-wide reputation for delivering strategic workforce and cultural reform initiatives. My success is also a result of taking a strategic perspective to strengthening doctrine and operational response capacity; influencing government policy; implementing growth expansion, engagement and retention plans, to achieve whole of government objectives. My decision-making is highly dependent on my own professional judgment, collaboration with Federal, State and Local government, Public Service networks, multi-agency/multi-disciplinary committees, and industry experts. I have a demonstrated ability to identify and evaluate the wider implications that may affect the communities we serve. I wake up each day with a passion for doing my very best and helping others to do the same by coaching, mentoring and training people to find and leverage their strengths.
