About Kayley Schulz

I am passionate about helping others. Throughout college I worked with individuals with a wide range of intellectual, mental, and physical disabilities. It has forever changed my outlook on the challenges people face. My Bachelor's degree in Health and Human Physiology with a focus on Health Promotion provides me with a great foundation of knowledge in healthcare and of the human body and mind. I also worked as a nurse aide at a rural hospital which was also very rewarding. I consider myself a very compassionate, organized, and focused individual. Striving to ensure quality patient and consumer care is of greatest importance to me. I am driven and committed to professions that allow me to make a difference. I earned my Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Minnesota and I am enthusiastic about my career in a profession that takes a holistic therapeutic approach. I currently work as an Occupational Therapist at Mitchell County Regional Health Center. As a critical access hospital, we have the opportunity to treat a very wide range of conditions and ages across the lifespan. I have worked to develop the inpatient and outpatient Occupational Therapy programs at this facility. We've grown to hire another full-time OT in addition to myself. I pride myself on program development and the provision of research-based treatment for a diverse range of conditions.
