About Kayli Mangus

I grew up in a small town where not many people get the opportunity to leave. When we were in school - we never heard of careers like engineering, marketing, or project management. I began my education with a Bachelors in Environmental, Health, and Safety, following the passion to want to protect others. That led me into the Engineers in Training Program with Siemens Energy, where I put in 3 years working at nuclear and fossil powerplants, protecting hundreds of our employees during power plant outages. Within this experience, I found the deep passion to want to train, teach, mentor, and guide and found my way into the Global Operations Training and Development group. It was here I found my love for project management, marketing, product development, stakeholders relationships, and leading teams. While working in this role as a program and project manager, I had the opportunity to participate in the Women Unlimited Development Program and connected with a Siemens Executive, who mentored me to build my skills even further. I had just finished my Master's degree in Engineering Management and was ready for the next challenge. Changing careers into sales and marketing was a developmental leap but I am a person who thrives in ambiguity and challenges. I took the role as a Sales and Marketing Professional for Siemens Energy Long Term Projects group. My skills as a professional expanded, sales, marketing, financial analysis, limit of authority, contracts and change orders, customer development, working across silos and platform teams. I am a hungry, ambitious, hard-working professional who thrives on expanding my knowledge to understand the strategy and core of business. I drive innovation initiatives, people development, and personal development to achieve personal and organizational goals. I am flexible and adaptable and work well within chaos and challenges.
