About Kea Thorstenson

From the plains of South Dakota, USA, I strived to take Taylor Swift's lyrics about living in a big ol city one day and make it a reality - London is now home. Former Rodeo Queen turned allegiance to the Queen herself *now King*! I wave the colours of red, white and blue no matter which side of the Atlantic I am on! Starting my career in the big smoke, I landed in the financial services industry with a focus on relationship and project management. Managing large-scale, complex projects, while improving efficiency, quality, and client success. I was recognized as an effective leader and team player who works well under pressure to meet deadlines and client needs. Exceptional communicator across multiple lines of business including internal and external clients, management, colleagues, and vendors through strong interpersonal skills and building relationships at all levels within an organization. I love a plan, you will often find a spreadsheet with my name on it, covering every element of my life (your name might be on it as well!) My next chapter isn't too far off my last in regards to deadlines and client needs. The clients changed though as they are now my three kids (who think I am cool (for the moment) being a rodeo queen (still holding onto that)). Since managing the debates of twin 5 year olds, I figured I could broaden my reach and decided to dip my toe into the sales world. Enter #samsales Consulting - where the ins and outs of not just what to do to sell but HOW to do it is the cornerstone of what makes it such an incredible company. Outside of the sales world, I'm a big fan of my kids and husband. I also have an incredible chocolate lab who will bark at anyone on a zoom call (so apologies in advance). I try to hit the stereotype of a soccer mum/mom driving a minivan, planning kid's birthdays and on the PTO! I also still dig Taylor Swift and have a soft spot for country music, sequins and rodeos.
