About Keandre Japal

Leadership and empowering are two, of what I would say are my biggest strengths and or skills when it comes to myself. These two qualities helped me get to the position of where I am today, as these qualities and the help of many more has allowed me to be the first male in my family to go to university as well been able to receive my first ever scholarship to Brock University for the leadership qualities I displayed in my grade 12th year at David Suzuki Secondary School. It was an honor to receive the "Jeanne Gray" award as it was an award in my school that was only won by girls at the time so breaking the chain for that was another milestone in my books. With the momentum of these two big milestones in my life, I felt like my life was only going in an upward trend, being able to make connections and lasting relationships with my teachers and peers brought me to an organization that help me elevate my leadership and empowering to another level. One Voice One Team is a non profit organization that specializes in empowering youth ages 7-13 and I have to thank them for helping me transcend my leadership skills and empowering skills and they taught me so many important qualities and lessons, I have been working with this organization for over 4 years now and and can only praise them for all the incredible work they do.
