About Keaton Hicks
After I graduated with my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, I started my career at Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation as a Mechanical Design Engineer with an emphasis in pipe stress analysis. After spending a couple years in Mechanical Design Engineering, I transferred my skills to a position under our Engineering Fix-it-Now (EFIN) Team. In my current role I tackle emergent issues using change package modifications, calculations, evaluations and engineering work processes while working closely with Maintenance, Operations, and other work groups to ensure cohesive and timely solutions. What I love about my experience as an engineer thus far are the challenges that come my way and being able to use my leadership, engineering, and problem solving skills to face them head on.
