About Keawe Chan

Keawe graduated as an electronics engineer at the University of Hull in 2005. Having worked for four different companies in very similar engineering positions, the majority of his responsibilities lay in the designing of electronics circuits and resolving electronics design issues During the first 6 years, Keawe has acquired a broad range of technical knowledge and experience which has allowed him to progress his engineering career. However by realising that being solely technical would not be enough to progress himself to the technical management level which he would like to achieve. His interest in management was first aroused when he took over the job of his superior in the management of a small electronics and environmental testing department in Britax PMG. He soon learned that his technical based skills were not enough to deal with management problems that he encountered. Gaining knowledge by undertaking a postgraduate management course would enhance his management skills and strengthen the weakness in these areas. Keawe would like to see himself having gained the ability of problem solving and decision-making in complex and unpredictable situations so as to be able to apply them to real life situations. Last but not least, Keawe is a diligent, motivated and committed candidate.
