Hello, I’m Kebra Wright, I am currently a Continuous Skills Development project manager. In my current role, I am responsible for ensuring training is conducted and maintained within my facility. I manage a team of leads that conduct compliance audits to ensure that one piece flow is followed throughout the facility. I maintain training hours with the forecast data of the facility to ensure that training hours can be supported by production hours as efficiently as possible. I collaborate with different teams in the building to facilitate all onboarding classes and training plans for every associate in the facility. My previous role was an Environnemental Health and Safety/ Asset Protection Manager at Walmart Distribution. In this role I had the pleasure of managing a group of 8 safety professionals. I worked with hazard waste regulations, OSHA regulations and reconciliation, policy and procedures, and creating a positive safety culture. I was most recently a safety specialist for Amazon’s biggest AirHub Stateside. I am OSHSA certified and work with and provide support for work place injuries and investigations as well as project management for various projects. I worked as an Environmental Health Manager prior to becoming an Amazonian. I worked in the enforcement section of the Bureau of Land and Waste Management for the Department of Health and Environmental Control. I worked with local and major businesses, to ensure that they stay in compliance with the State regulations and statutes. I spent my first 6 professional years as a public health nutritionist for The Department of Health and Environment Control. Three of those six years I spent as the Clinic Team lead. In that role I was responsible for facility audits, inventory audits, staff audits, training, and customer or client complaints. I directed monthly meetings with staff and regional leadership teams. I specialize in caseload management, communication, teamwork, quality control, team and staff training, and law regulations and statutes. I am also a Certified Lactation Consultant. I’ve worked with many different ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
