About Kedar Phutane

I'm currently in my third year of study of B.E.(Hons.) Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Finance at BITS Pilani, Goa Campus. I currently have a broad base of interests spanning from Design, Simulation and Analysis of Mechanical components, Finance, Business Analytics and Management, Stock Market Trading and Operations/Project Management. I completed a 6 week internship at Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd in July 2020 based on Operations Management. I am currently working as an intern at Kalyani Technoforge Pvt Ltd and am getting practical exposure in my actual learning phase as to how Engineering, Finance and Management go hand in hand in such huge industries. I also help out in managing the family owned business and manufacturing of "Dhouti Yog", a trusted ayurvedic medicine brand in Maharashtra and expanding throughout India. I'm an ex-national level Table Tennis Player and the Vice-Captain of the Institute's Table tennis Team. I am one of the Founding Members of the Speak to Lead Club, which is basically an encouraging platform for people who want to improve on their public speaking skills through constructive criticism and regular practice. l also am an active member of the "Project Lamani" by Abhigyaan, which is a group of passionate people who reach out to slums and teach the underprivileged children living there. The Coronavirus crisis gave me an opportunity to reach out and help the society by volunteering for Covid-19 Screening Campaigns in my locality through RSS (rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangha)
