As a Manager of Finance at Arch Insurance Group Inc, I oversee and participate in the quarter close process in key accounting areas, such as US GAAP, IFRS, and statutory reporting. I have over three years of experience in the insurance sector, and I hold a CPA designation, an MBA degree, and a Certificate in Business Valuations. My core competencies include financial accounting, account reconciliation, internal audits, and regulatory reporting. I have successfully led the annual financial statement audit and prepared the MD & A and related schedules. I have also advised executives and senior management on evolving financial and statutory reporting requirements and recommended process enhancements and staff training.
