I am a graduate of Iowa State University with a B.S. in Biology. I am currently employed as a Laboratory Scientist for UnityPoint Health - St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids and have been with them since October 2021. My experience from both education and work have prepared me to be successful at this job and a quality asset to many companies in the near future. Through my collegiate experience, I have acquired the necessary arithmetic, algebraic, and geometric skills relevant to this job and am comfortable multitasking and evaluating technical data. I have also gained knowledge in various fields that would be helpful to this job, including organic chemistry, biology, and biochemistry. Through my experience at Hy-Vee and UnityPoint Health, I have developed excellent communication skills that are essential to any job in today’s workforce. Working at these companies has taught me to complete group work successfully while also being able to accomplish various tasks individually. Working for a company that is passionate about their work and caring about their customers and employees is what I am striving towards in my career. As a driven individual, I would love to work for a company that challenges me to be the best version of myself every day.
