Nurse with 18 years of progressive and in-depth Heathcare experience, Implementation and Healthcare IT Project Management. My career began in the construction industry where I managed large projects and kept them on-time and within budget. I then took my PM skills and entered the healthcare field. I quickly found that I could make a difference in people’s lives but wanted to see how big of an impact I could make. This ultimately led to my final transition into Healthcare Care Coordination. I have most recently worked as a Clinical Research Nurse and an Staff Accountant with my Coding and Billing Specialist Certification. I have been responsible for ground-up design, build and implementation as well as upgrades and training initiatives. I have a very approachable engagement style which has served me well when working with Executives, Physicians and Nursing staff. I take a big picture approach and offer solutions that will improve and ensure patient and clinician safety, minimize risk, and control costs. I am dependable and function well within a team environment. I have a wide range of EMR experience, having been involved in Epic, Allscripts, Cerner, GE, McKesson, HMS/MEDHOST and Eclipsys implementations. I am currently looking for a new opportunity.
