Experienced Commercial Insurance Broker and Underwriter with a demonstrated history of working in the insurance industry. Skilled in Negotiation, Property & Casualty Insurance, Commercial specialising in charity, care, faith and event insurance. Have led a team of underwriters and enjoyed developing and motivating them. Connecting business and charity sectors to learn and benefit from each other is a particular interest of mine, which led to my involvement with a social enterprise in this area. Problem solving and innovating is also something I enjoy which led a project to roll-out an email customer satisfaction survey, reporting on the MI for the various branches in one of my previous roles. I have worked closely with four Councils for Voluntary Services delivering training sessions on topics such as insuring volunteers, affinity insurance products, writing newsletter articles and being a point of contact for insurance queries.
