Clifton Strengths: Achiever, Restorative, Learner, Positivity, and Individualization As an Executive Assistant at Tarleton State University, I provide administrative support to the Vice President for Student Engagement and Success and other divisional leaders. I obtained Bachelor's degree in Professional and Relational Communications at the same university, in May 2025. I have an Associate of Science degree in Communication from Ranger College, which I completed in December 2022. I am currently enrolled in the Masters of Public Administration program at Tarleton State University. My core competencies include high-level administrative support, higher education policy and procedures, event planning and coordination, budget management, human resources contact, and data analysis. In my current role, I handle high-level interactions with the campus community and assist with highly confidential and critical academic and administrative matters. For example, I implemented administrative training and procedures for the division. I review incoming correspondence, prioritize and route it appropriately, and handle many routine matters independently. Additionally, I draft and edit reports, memos, and presentations and prepare travel arrangements and expense reports. I enjoy working with an excellent and collaborative team that values excellence, integrity, and innovation. I am motivated by the opportunity to contribute to the university's mission and vision and support the student's success and well-being. I bring a unique perspective and experience to the team, as I have worked in different sectors and roles, such as a Texas Works Advisor I & II at Texas Health and Human Services and a Clerical/Administrative/Intake Coordinator at Stephen's Home Health.
