Wachay! Hello! After completing my Social Service Worker diploma at Sheridan College in April 2025, I was hired as a Post Majority Care Case Manager at Payukotayno. My duties include supporting First Nations youth and young adults' transition from the child welfare system to independence by helping them navigate community resources and other social services. I'm both motivated and excited to begin a career in empowering and strengthening our Indigenous youth and communities. Coming from a tiny remote community on the coast of James Bay in northern Ontario, I've developed a deep understanding of the many struggles, even experienced much of it, that effects Indigenous populations and communities across Canada.
