About Keisha Lafortune

I am a recent Retail Management graduate from Ryerson University. I have over seven years of combined experience in retail, administration, and customer service where I have perfected my interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. I have also travelled extensively which allowed me to observe the retail industry in a variety of markets in addition to the importance of the role that culture and diversity play in this field. Through my work experiences, I have gained confidence, leadership capabilities and strong work ethics. I have also had many positive interactions with superiors in various employment, working directly with the public, educators, students during team projects, and while engaging in the oversight of different volunteer experiences. My future career aspiration is to acquire a role in buying or marketing and currently, my focus is to gain as much experience as possible through employment, networking opportunities, internship programs and continuous education. Select Accomplishments:* Completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program * Organized a fashion show to raise funds for SickKids Foundation * Travelled across Europe for two months by myself When I’m not studying or working, you can find me getting lost in a good book or watching fashion shows.
