About Keisha T.

Something worth knowing about me that you will not be able to discover from browsing through my previous roles is that, my proudest moments are development and growth! Growing up, I was the introverted child, the shy one in high school, and not the go-getter leader I am today. Over time, I was able to develop my skills and myself into the person I always longed to be. It took a few years for me to discover my leadership style and to have confidence in myself and use my voice. I found myself in the world of retail because it is so ever changing, creative, passionate, and also at times can be chaotic - but that’s one of the best parts because it challenges me in a way that catches me off guard. Because of this, I am resilient, a very quick problem solver, sales driven, empathetic, meticulous, and customer oriented.Working in retail tests patience and character, and from what I’ve learned throughout the years, if you don’t have a supportive and genuine manager, you will feel like you’re always getting handed the shorter end of the stick! It has become my purpose to be a leader who can recognize potential in my employees and to develop skills and provide that mentorship and support to my team. I have been very successful at training and developing my employees which has led to my stores ranking top 3 in the market for multiple KPIs and has led for them getting internal promotions. I have also helped former associates get higher positions at other companies that align with their goals/vision and their field of study. Seeing the impact of my actions towards my team is what drives me to do better everyday. It gives me that push to be the best I can be because I’m in a position where I can help shape the next generation of leaders in the workplace wherever they may go.
