LinkedIn Summary When I received the notification I didn't make the basketball team in High School, I was devastated. It was then I knew I wasn't going to make it to the WNBA. Fortunately I was a great student and was afforded the opportunity to take colleges credits. Accounting 101 was scary to most but became my first love. It was then I knew I wanted to enter the business field. Working as an accountant assistant for 7 years through through high school and college was both challenging and intriguing. Who would ever know my HS class would land me in the Accounting Profession with experience of over 10 years in Healthcare! Since I love to learn, completing my Masters of Science for project management in information technology security was not an option. I am now able to use the combination of my strong finance background which includes project management, analysis and accounting skills which can be used in a plethora of positions. One of my biggest accomplishments was being a super user for the fixed asset Lawson software implementation from excel which made fixed asset reporting more efficient, timely, and transparent. Three words which describe me best are intelligent, jovial, and trustworthy. I am a firm believer smiling is contagious and essential to the workplace since most people spend more time at work than at home. It's an awesome feeling to shine at work by knowing goals are achieved through hard work, adhering to ethical policies and contributing to a positive work atmosphere.
