About Keith Barta

I joined the Salco team in September of 1995, starting as a general warehouseman working on an assembly table. After about a year of slinging parts, I had the opportunity to move into an Inventory Control position. This position allowed me to learn about all the parts my company has to offer and it was a great opportunity for me to learn more about Salco My next move within the Company was into a position as a associate buyer, which was the stepping stone that allowed me to grow into my current role for the company as a Director of Materials Management. I am also a proud member of Salco's M2M team (Enterprise software) and DocuWare and was integral to their implementation into Salco’s business. Currently married and have two beautiful children. My son, Shane, born on 12/02/2011 and daughter, Brooke, born 7/4/15. That's right, she's my firecracker, booming with joy! If I’m not spending time with them, I keep myself busy with my hobbies which include: Aquascaping, Automobiles, Motorcycling, Jetsking (the stand-up variety), Remote Control, and Electronic Tech in general. I’m very hands-on and love to design and build various things. I am very mechanical and enjoy working on electric and combustion motors and drivetrains. I hope my enthusiasm for my work and hobbies rubs of on my little ones. Not in a do as I do manner. More of a take passion for what you choose to do in life, whatever it is. Cheers, Keith
