About Keith Berry
After my first year in Chemical Engineering I was offered an REU position where I was introduced to research under Dr. Keith Roper studying plasmonic properties of gold nanoparticles. I fell in love with research and continued through my undergraduate career and on into my graduate career. Studying the way nanoparticles interact with light and how those properties can be used in many different avenues has been a primary focus for me. When I am not in the lab conducting the research, writing publications, or conducting data analysis, I am in the literature studying recent advances and technologies using these properties. Research in nanotechnology has become my passion and focus.
