Education professional dedicated to producing engaging learning experiences and building greater outcomes for students and organizations. Strengths include excellent oral and written communication skills, working in team environments and producing independently. Detail oriented with special experience in education research, media production, and ESL teaching. For 6 years I was the Director of Multimedia Production for TestRocker, an online SAT/ACT and PSAT Test prep program. TestRocker has helped thousands of students reach the university of their dreams with great test scores. Each day I got to work with a dedicated team of educators, marketers and business developers to build and perfect a product that improves student outcomes from inner-city Chicago to the crowded streets of Mumbai. I specialized in helping tutors and teachers translate their often text based curriculum into engaging video for the web. During my final year with TestRocker I served as Director of Blended Learning and Media, spearheading our continued expansion in blended learning in the New York City region. I worked inside classrooms to bring students the best learning experience possible. To expand my knowledge and better understand the rapidly changing industry of online learning I have completed an MA in Media Studies at Queens College in New York. I focused my thesis project on old media’s influence on new education. Understanding the transformation from textbooks to multi-facetted education media is vital to knowing where learning and schooling in the US is headed next. In 2019 and 2020 I taught English as a second language in Santiago, Chile while researching and writing. My focus was on Chile's education system and the country's on-going constitutional crisis. I am currently looking for new education and non-profit focused opportunities in Indianapolis, Indiana. I look forward to connecting with you no matter where you’re working, teaching & learning.
