I’m a highly motivated, results-driven Senior Development Adviser within the HPSU (High Potential Start Up) unit of Enterprise Ireland with over 14 years experience working with SME’s. The HPSU Division in Enterprise Ireland (EI) is responsible for ensuring that the next generation of HPSU companies are identified, funded and supported to achieve their business goals, grow and scale internationally. As a Senior Development Adviser within the HPSU unit, I work closely within the start-up eco system to stimulate the establishment of new start-up companies with export potential, with a focus across a number of sectors including ICT, Manufacturing, Fintech and Life Sciences. Over the past three years within Enterprise Ireland I have successfully managed and lead the HPSU Enquiries team and have worked intensively with a diverse portfolio of HPSU clients and entrepreneurs, from early stage development, to help them build investor-ready, export led businesses and scale globally. I’m heavily focused on working with key stakeholders in the start-up eco system to prospect for, encourage and bring suitable early stage companies into the HPSU division and progress to Investor ready stage, fund and help them scale. I have responsibility within the unit not only to manage a vast portfolio of clients, but a key role is establishing and build strategic relationships with key Enterprise Ireland stakeholders (e.g. LEOs, BICs, Accelerators, New Frontiers, Investors, VCs, MNCs, R&I/ Third level community and Female entrepreneurship networks etc.) in the start-up eco-system across all regions to develop an increasingly strong pipeline of HPSUs. I have vast experience of taking a creative and innovative approach to developing strategies to support enterprise development and assist the SME business sector. I have strong commercial awareness and judgement, demonstrated by the number of client companies I have assisted gain financial support over the years that have continued to thrive, and become successful sustainable businesses. I have vast project management experience born out of working closely with thousands of SME’s over the past 14 years within the B2B and B2C service sectors.
