I have been the PR guy for different businesses on the island over the years. Born and raised here, I am quite well known in the business community. I am known for helping to promote businesses, and my reviews of restaurants. I have also developed a name for myself in regards to photography. I was an official photographer for the Swiftsure yacht race for a few years. After spending 18 years in health care ( Specializing in mental health ).I felt I needed a break.a change. So I moved to the Philippines.had a beautiful house built.started 4 business ( a piggery, a deep sea fishing business, a bakery, and a karaoke bar ) under the name Brooks industries.all to give employment and help my friends there. Now I have moved back to my home country to work here until retirement - returning to my retail roots.dating back to when I worked at Moore's the Suit People ( I did this for 8 years ) I started out at Walmart as a Fulfillment Associate, unloading trucks and putting out stock onto the floor.then went on to be a floor manager - then to be the Department Manager of Fulfilment. I now can be found most days overseeing the Housewares Department at our Nanaimo location. On my days off I can usually be found exploring this beautiful city, and trying the wonderful restaurants it has to offer! It's a new chapter in my life.and I'm loving every minute of it!
