About Keith Browne

Enablement is defined as the process of ‘making someone able to do something’, or ‘making something possible.’ My career trajectory began with enabling customers to resolve complex technical issues. It wasn’t long before, as a Voice Coach and Learning Facilitator, I was enabling service personnel by way of drawing up new hire programs, delivering classroom training sessions on varied skill and knowledge variances, besides always seeking out unconventional ways to make learning effective & continuous. Highlight: Developing & facilitating the IBM new hire program impacting nearly 4500 employees, besides being the creator of WeMail, the microlearning Email etiquette newsletter. Enablement truly went the distance, as at IBM India, I was instrumental in standardizing, establishing & managing the accessibility compliance in learning dept. After testing close to 400 learning programs, it was great to be an accessibility consultant & advocate for equal access & inclusive learning content where content was built & certified as usable irrespective of physical or cognitive disabilities. As a PM – L&D, I led the development of some diverse & exceptional learning programs including: the IBM Strategic Imperatives program which benefitted almost employees in Q1 2016; the Deloitte Future of Mobility project which was an immersive experience in understanding how mobility was changing never to be the same again; and the Application Modernization project which, though built on atypical software, provided a visually intense understanding of how apps need to keep up with the changing landscape. I’ve gained so much & am extremely grateful to have worked with the best, companies with legacies & character. I’ve been enabled to perform at my best by virtue of the colleagues & companies I’ve called my own. And this journey certainly will continue….
