I am actively improving my understanding of kidney anatomy, surgical dissection technique, suturing, vascular surgery, cellular metabolism, laboratory values, and machine pulsatile organ preservation techniques Recognized as a board-certified Transplant Preservationist, I can assist recovery surgeons in removing organs from deceased donors as well as inspecting, dissecting, separating and packaging organs upon removal, according to established procedures. I excel in cleaning and sterilizing equipment following organ recovery, maintaining organ preservation lab while restocking equipment, supplies, solutions, and other inventory as needed. I am well-experienced with new technology like normal thermic preservation machines for the heart, lungs, and liver. Furthermore, I can ensure that organizational initiatives are implemented in a timely way throughout the service line and that the leadership team integrates improvement goals and programs into operations.
