About Keith Darrow

Dr. Darrow’s career in hearing health care is singularly focused on teaching people about the benefits of improved communication. Communication is the building block for every relationship, and if damaged by hearing loss, it can have a detrimental effect on the individual and his/her family. Whether in the classroom or involved in on-on-one direct patient care, his efforts are focused on helping people understand the benefits of improved hearing and communication, and the positive impact healthy hearing can have on a healthy cognition. Dr. Darrow believes wholeheartedly that Hearing Care is Health Care; and that hearing loss can have a significant impact on an individual’s personal, social, economic and cognitive capacity. Currently only 1 out of 5 people with hearing loss seek treatment (and it is estimated that 48 Million people in the U.S. suffer from a disabling form of hearing loss!). Dr. Darrow’s passion is helping patients, Audiologist, and future Audiologist, understand the positive benefits of treating hearing loss that include improved quality of life, increased cognitive function, restoring proper stimulation to the brain, and decreasing an individual’s risk of developing mind-robbing Dementia.
