At heart I am a creative problem-solver. What else is engineering?// I bring together deep expertise and experience in developing and scaling manufacturing processes, experience developing operating models for new teams, designing and improving business processes, executing those processes to lead cross-functional teams in new product development, and the pragmatism and focus to consult with executives in creating and refining business and technology strategies.// I care about the "what" and "how," but above all I care about "why"- and this has been the main driving force behind my path through the last decade of my career.// Outside of engineering, you'll find me engaged in a wide cross-section of activities; last year I took a five-month inter-job sabbatical to hike miles through the mountain ranges of the US West Coast; the same year I took my first paid contract singing in an opera. I studied classical piano for twenty years before more recently pivoting to producing electronic music.
