I have been in the transportation/warehousing industry for 20 years. I started at about 15 years old working for Mackie Moving Systems and I was fortunate enough to learn and achieve an amazing work ethic from the owner, Ross Mackie. I started from the bottom and worked my way up at Mackie. I did everything from painting, sweeping, janitorial, loading and unloading, quality control, and inventory control. I stayed there until November 2017 as I was fortunate enough to live out my dream as a signed musician. I was an inventory coordinator for 5 years at one of the biggest moving companies in Canada, Mackie Moving Systems. I was in direct contact with high profile clients such as, Philips Medical, H&K Canada, Toshiba, and Hitachi to name a few. Dealing with 200+ emails a day, as well as creating receiving and shipping orders for the day's deliveries. I would also perform and send weekly audits for our clients to ensure inventory transparency, as well as accuracy.
