About Keith Duncan

From the time I was very young and the first microcomputers were introduced, I have been fascinated by everything about them. From earning my bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems to becoming an award-winning computer animator for 12 years, to teaching computers and computer animation to middle school students for the next 15 years and then coming back to my roots of coding, I have always loved computers. I am not sure if I like figuring out the puzzles embedded in code or using the data to create complex an concrete changes that drew me in more, but I cannot imagine a world for me without my hands on some kind of computing. When I was first out of college and working as a computer animator for an international television station, I taught myself how to use six different platforms of animation. From 2D to 3D software I was completely self-taught and won many Telly Awards. I was even nominated for an Emmy for the work I did for SONY. At some point I wanted to share my love of animation and computers with the next generations so I shifted my focus to teaching middle schoolers how to code and animate their own projects. Now, after graduating from Tech Elevator.NET/C # program, I am now a Junior Software Engineer at SenSource Inc. I am enjoying the full stack development that we are doing. I am amazed at how much I have learned in a few short months.
