About Keith Frampton

I am a Registered Social Worker with a Master’s of Social Work. I have been providing individual trauma-informed psychotherapy for 8 years at the Cornwall Community Hospital with the Assault & Sexual Abuse Program (ASAP). I support youth, adults and elders affected by intimate partner violence and sexual abuse. I have also been supporting the 2SLGBTQI+ community with concerns relating to sexuality and gender. My specialization lies in the treatment of PTSD, concerns for shame, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, difficult somatic experiences, complex grief and loss. I am Certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). I am also trained in Narrative Therapy, Ego State Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and the Flash Technique (Advanced). For the past 6 years, I have been attending a combination of monthly clinical EMDR group consultation and individual clinical consultation led by a registered psychotherapist who has 35+ years of experience. Prior to this, I received 2 years of monthly individual consultation for Narrative Therapy by a registered psychotherapist.
