About Keith Griffin

Keith moved to Florida in his early twenties and learned stone restoration. Upon returning to Michigan in 1987 he began work for a tile and marble company, quickly realizing on job sites that no one in the Detroit area was restoring stone surfaces, he made the decision to promote himself to a few interior designers in the area to see where it could go. The phone hasn't stopped ringing. One of his first commercial projects was being called on to restore the marble in the Fox Theater. While there isn't much natural stone in the theater itself he was contracted to restore all of the marble hallways in the above office spaces. It was a thrilling project and one that launched his business. Today, over 30 years later he is still regarded as an expert in the field of stone restoration. He has completed stone restoration in many of Detroit finest homes and most prestigious office buildings. His business continues to grow mainly through word of mouth, which is an honor he doesn't take lightly, still serving today many of his first customers and their family members, neighbors and friends. In 30 years he has seen and restored many natural stone surfaces. These years of business have made him an expert in the area for stone restoration. Most exciting right now is all of the restoration that is taking place downtown. It continues to be a source of accomplishment to take what many think has to be torn out and replaced and make it new again.
