About Keith Hammond

I founded Optima in 2009 as a result of the increasing global threat from IEDs and my background in C-IED & Search operational delivery and capability development. This gave me a platform to create a company of like-minded people working together to make life-saving differences, which has always been my purpose, my belief, my why. Optima has grown into a well established and respected Group with a number of companies, all of which support human security and post-conflict stabilisation and reconstruction. We are an established leader in explosive threat mitigation, and have grown steadily to provide world-renowned services - not only for governments and public bodies but also for any organisation that may encounter unexploded ordnance. We are making locations safe for reconstruction, equipping countries with the skills to overcome future explosive threats and helping to restore stability and transform lives around the globe.
