I believe the key to any successful EHS program is developing positive relationships with both line staff, and the management team to establish a proactive, highly motivated, highly productive workforce. This can be accomplished by a positive reinforcement based culture which enables and supports the productivity of the company while incorporating employee personal safety, and the safety of others. As good EHS leader, one must to be able to understand the culture and motivation of those around them, and guide them with integrity, a positive attitude, and a desire for excellence.
